Car #1 and Miscellaneous Pics: Added 7/29/2000. The now famous "canoe pic". Owned by Pontiac Motor Division; not for sale. The third picture is a scan of a very interesting paper clipping that came with my Recaro's documentation. I've never seen it anywhere else! Fourth pic is a promo story from "Illustrated Buyer's Guide:Firebird" by John A. Gunnell. Fifth pic is a scan of an 8x10 glossy I got with my PHS info, and also appears in the same book. Next 2 pics are an exploded view of a Recaro seat with all parts shown, and the parts list with descriptions and GM part numbers. The next pic is of the LU5 engine a.k.a. the "Cross-Fire" or "CFI" which came on most, but not all, 1982 Recaros (a few had the engine with code LG4, which was a slightly less potent carbureted version of the same engine). Next 3 yellow pics are an internal PMD bulletin announcing limited availability of a Recaro Trans Am option. Next 2 pics are scans of Recaro extra support pads which came with my car. Last pic is from a 1982 reference guide. |
