Links: Links to Firebird and Trans Am information are literally a dime
a dozen. However, links to the Recaro Edition Trans Am as shown are
extremely hard to come across, in my experience. If you have information
or links related to unmodified Recaro Edition Trans Am's, please let me know.
- Justin's 82 Recaro T/A page - Justin just got this car in mid-'01, and is a lucky guy.
- Discoman's 1982 to 1983 Cross-Fire Trans Am Page - This is a great site with priceless info on the Cross-Fire, plus more. This is an underestimated page.
- Kevin's 1982 Firebird Trans Am - This site has a lot of great info and exclusive how-to's relating to the LU5 engine. Kevin has also owned a carbureted Trans Am so he knows a lot about both engines that came in Recaro Trans Am's.
- The Cross-Fire Injection Forum - If your Recaro Trans Am was Cross-Fire equipped, as most were, go here to talk specifically about crossfire engines of the early 80s, including the LU5, with other people who own them. Great place.
- The Cross-Fire Injection Vault - The source for information on Cross-Fire Injection equipped Corvettes, Camaros and Firebirds.
- Pontiac Historic Services - The source of historic information for Pontiac owners, restorers, collectors, enthusiasts and car buffs, who are looking for *specific* information on their Pontiac.
- Recaro North America - Not sure if they offer '82 Recaro seats or '82 Recaro seat parts, but worth a visit nonetheless.
- TransAmGTA.com - Alex runs this site about his personal cars but he has also taken the time to compile lots and lots of info on the Third Generation in general. Excellent reference pages.

- Thanks go to Kevin for confirming the Y84 code on the 1982 Recaro T/A, which is also the same for the 1983 Recaro T/A. I wasn't sure about that until I heard from Kevin (and until I got back my PHS info). He's also been the source for a lot of other priceless info about 1982-1984 F-body cars, especially 1982. Whenever he works on his LU5 he sends me updates which I can maybe use in the future for preemptive maintenance on my own low-miler. He's also pretty good at body work on T/A's.
- Thanks to fellow '82 Recaro T/A owner Eric for providing and confirming miscellaneous tidbits of info about interior features, options groups, paint codes, etc. I can only imagine his tons of documentation.
- Thanks to overall T/A fanatic George for being the source of 100% reliable historical information for 1982. George has just about seen it all and done it all, when it comes to Trans Am's! Very great guy to know.
- A shout out to Recaro fan (and future owner!) MicrojamKI2000@aol.com for information on the origin of this picture.
